There is a bug in the WIP date range that doesn't pull accurate data.Ħ. It works for every other software I own, but not in UDA.ĥ. Using duplexing on my printer doesn't work right. You can't select-copy addresses, in order to paste them somewhere else.Ĥ. So the default dictionary gets used, and your custom words still show up as being spelled wrong!ģ. The spell checker lets you add custom words to a dictionary, but, it can only use one dictionary at a time to check spelling. Their spell checker creates a squiggly line to tell you that you have a misspelled word, but, doens't allow you to correct it.Ģ. "You mean, I can't do THAT with UDA, but I can do it with any other basic software out there?" was a common comment running through my head.ġ. Some are major things, and some are very minor annoyances that will drive you nuts. While they have a beautiful user interface, there are some serious flaws under the hood. If your decision hasn't been made, let me say: DON'T DO IT! I made a serious mistake when I bought UDA. They make a big promise, and fall flat on their face. UDA ConstructionSuite is a registered trademark of UDA Technologies, Inc., 2272 Moores Mill Road, Auburn, Alabama 36830 If you are trying to find one of your clients a Construction Management Product, feature rich in functions and tools appropriate to residential, commercial or green construction companies, and your Client uses QuickBooks (desktop) Pro, Premier or Enterprise, be sure to give ConstructionSuite a trial run if for no other reason than to see the tremendous degree of integration between the two products. UDA ConstructionSuite is to be commended for offering such a ‘best practices’ level of integration with QuickBooks. Rarely do we as ProAdvisors see the options, variations, and degree of customization choices in a 3 rd party product when it comes to how we want that product’s data incorporated into our QuickBooks Company file. The level of integration between ConstructionSuite and QuickBooks is in one word, tremendous. Making for one 'pretty picture' when it comes to insuring your jobs come in on budget. When you do your Construction data never looked finer with estimated costs and revenues, incurred costs and revenues, and actual costs and revenues. It's just as easy to pull your purchase order data, and customer invoice information from QuickBooks back into your jobs in ConstructionSuite.
